Frequently asked questions at The Laggan Hotel
Check-in is from 2pm and checkout is at 11am. Check-in closes at 11pm, however if you will be arriving after this time, please contact us directly so that we can make arrangements.
We have a small amount of fishing equipment available along with the sale of fishing permits and boat hire for the Spey dam.
Dalwhinnie is located seven miles from the hotel, they operate daily tours, and we can assist with arranging this for you.
There is no public transport directly available from the hotel, the nearest train stations are located in Dalwhinnie (seven miles) or Newtonmore (eight miles). A public bus service is also available in Newtonmore. There is a taxi service but this must be booked in advance.

The Laggan has a ramp providing access into the hotel - the bar, dining room, and toilets are all on the ground floor. We do have rooms on the ground floor; however, these are limited.
Breakfast is from 7am to 9am, however we can be flexible on this. Evening meals are served between 6pm and 8.30pm, booking in advance is advisable but not essential.
